Gary Hall

Experience & specialisms: 

Taxation and business development for the owner managed business. Assisting clients in helping their business to grow. Gary is always friendly and will always try and help you with any questions that you might have.

Ben Lynes

Experience & specialisms: 

Ben specialises in providing services to the owner-managed business and has a wide range of experience covering sole traders, partnerships and small to medium sized limited companies.

Outside work:

Ben enjoys walking, reading, writing and performing music with his friends, and learning tai chi. He also occasionally teaches accounting courses for the region’s adult education service.

Chris Allen

Assistant Client Manager

Chris has many years experience in working with owner managed businesses.

Viv Keable

Position:

Assistant Client Manager

Qualifications:

Viv is currently studying for her final exams to qualify with the Association of International Accountants.

Experience & specialisms: 

After originally training with a firm of accountants in Beccles, Viv became a self-employed bookkeeper and accounts agent for the next 20 years before joining Cunninghams in January, 2006. Viv has a wide range of experience with sole proprietors, partnerships and small companies.

Outside work:

Viv enjoys music, travelling, reading, films, watching most sports, helping her husband run his company, and spending time with their 2 sons when they are home from university.

Steven Howell

Position:

Accounts Assistant

Higher Diploma in Accountancy
Currently studying ACCA professional examinations

Experience & specialisms: 

4 years experience of working in practice. Prior to that was working in accounts department of a small local company.

Linda Dann

Position:

Payroll And Bookkeeping Assistant

Qualifications:

Typing - RSA I, II & III

Experience & specialisms: 

General reception work - answering of telephone. Typing letters - accounts. Filing. General Bookkeeping.

Outside work:

Outside work I enjoy swimming and walking and also going on holidays.I also have to keep the children entertained.

Sylvia Wilson

Senior Assistant

Qualifications:

'A' Levels in accounting & sociology

Experience & specialisms: 

Sylvia has had 10 years experience of working for another local accountant and joined Cunninghams in 1997. She specialises in auditing, Sage training for clients and preparing accounts from challenging books and records.

Outside work:

Sylvia has a grown-up family and now enjoys reading, socialising with friends and holidays abroad.

Laura Graves

Position:

Senior Payroll Manager

Qualifications:

Laura is currently studying for the Certified Accounting Technician qualification.

Experience & specialisms: 

Laura has been working at Cunninghams for over 12 years and now specialises in payroll matters and also everyday running of the payroll. She also deals with end of year returns, sage bookkeeping and accounts. She is available to assist clients on payroll queries.

Sandra Gower

Position:

Senior Assistant

Experience & specialisms: 

Sandra has worked in accountancy for 30 years, of which 28 have been with Cunninghams. She specialises in audit work and preparing accounts from challenging books.

Janice Taylor

Position:

Practice Secretary

Qualifications:

RSA II English, Typing, Secretarial duties.

Experience & specialisms: 

Janice has worked at Cunninghams as Practice Secretary for over 15 years.

Outside work:

Janice likes to keep fit and enjoys gardening, going to the theatre and holidays abroad.

Donna Aylett

Position:

Accounts Assistant / Payroll

Qualifications:

10 GSCES, 1 A Level, NVQ level 3 in Retail, Admin, Accounts
Donna is currently studying for the Certified Accounting Technician qualification.

Experience & specialisms: 

Donna has had a wide work experience in many areas but majority in the accounts sector.

Outside work:

Donna is kept busy helping with her husbands business and renovation of their victorian property.

Rachel Garnham

Rachel is currently studying for the final stage of the ACCA qualification

Outside work:

Rachel enjoys going on holidays abroad, reading and socialising with friends.

Tamsin Middleton

Currently studying for the ACCA professional examinations

Outside work:

When not studying towards the ACCA examinations, Tamsin works on restoring her Austin Mini and her husband’s 1971 Fiat 500.  Tamsin also has a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Hamilton, which she enjoys walking.

Carolyn Garner

Accounts Assistant

12 GCEs, 2 A levels, B/TEC ONC in Business & Finance and
CII Financial Planning Certificate.

Experience & specialisms: 

Carolyn has 19 years experience working within financial services. She joined Cunninghams in October 2007 and is responsible for the firm’s management accounting and bookkeeping services.

Outside work:

Carolyn enjoys spending time with her young family and when time allows, playing badminton and going to the gym.

Lynda Smith

RSA Stage 1 Typewriting, Basic Computing Procedures Gateway 2000 Microsoft Word, Introduction to Microsoft Excel, NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration.

Experience & specialisms: 

32 years experience in reception/administration and customer services, dealing with the public both in person and over the telephone.

Outside work:

Lynda enjoys swimming, walking, mountain biking, gym workouts and skiing as well as dressmaking. Spending time with her family and granddaughter keeps her young, and when time allows she also likes to read.

Joy Solomon

Receptionist

Experience & specialisms: 

Joy joined Cunninghams in July 2008 bringing with her many years experience in legal secretarial and administrative skills

Outside work:

Joy is keen to explore her creative side achieving GCSE O and AS levels in Photography (Grade A) and Centra Interior Design (& Architecture) with distinctions. Joy also enjoys badminton, swimming, cycling and walking; entertaining and relaxing with family and friends.

Scott Hanson

Outside work:

Scott enjoys playing and watching football, spends time at the gym, and also likes to play golf and snooker.
